LatinoSan es la Conferencia Latinoamericana de Saneamiento, un espacio regional de diálogo, cooperación e innovación que promueve el acceso universal al agua y al saneamiento. Desde su primera edición, ha sido referente en la construcción de políticas públicas y proyectos que transforman vidas en toda la región. LatinoSan is the Latin American Sanitation Conference, a regional space for dialogue, cooperation, and innovation that promotes universal access to water and sanitation. Since its first edition, it has been a reference in the construction of public policies and projects that transform lives throughout the region. This edition is supported by governments, cooperation agencies, multilateral organizations, NGOs, and private companies committed to sustainable development. LatinoSan est la Conférence Latino-Américaine sur l'Assainissement, un espace régional de dialogue, de coopération et d'innovation qui promeut l'accès universel à l'eau et à l'assainissement. Depuis sa première édition, elle est une référence dans la construction de politiques publiques et de projets qui transforment des vies dans toute la région. Cette édition bénéficie du soutien de gouvernements, d'agences de coopération, d'organisations multilatérales, d'ONG et d'entreprises privées engagées en faveur du développement durable. Turning Water Data Into Action

Making informed, data-driven decisions requires access to reliable data and the tools to analyze it. The UN Sustainable Development Goals Report (2022) noted that only 1% of water quality data from 76,000 global water bodies came from the world’s poorest countries, highlighting a major gap in data collection and analysis. Without data, informed decisions cannot be made. This is a gap we are working to help close. Join us on May 20 when Joshua Kurtz and Sule Muhanguzi will share insights from their work in Uganda with The Ayin Project (TAP), focusing on two key topics: The purpose of developing a Water Quality Laboratory The use of ArcGIS for data collection, analysis, and presentation They will share how building local testing capacity and using geospatial data tools can help communities better understand their water, make informed decisions, and implement sustainable solutions.

4th Africa WSS Regulators Conference

The 4th Africa WSS Regulators Conference is set to hold from 19-21 May 2026 under the auspices of the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), South Africa. The expected audience of over 400 participants comprises WSS Regulatory institutions from all 55 African countries, Government representatives, Utilities and Utility associations, sanitation and rural WSS operators, development partners, Civil Society and private sector.
