Key Finding
Operating, managing, and maintaining last mile water supply in Ghana will require additional financing of over US$27.3 million annually.

The audience for this report is Ghana’s water sector stakeholders, including the government, development partners, NGOs, and academia. The report is intended to help them have a common understanding of the financial requirements for implementing their water supply at the national level. Additionally, it will inform discussion around the suggested program changes to drive improved financial viability.
Additionally, the report – or a version of it – may be useful for funders. It highlights the anticipated financing need for OMM, how that has been calculated, and what steps can be taken to reduce the subsidy requirement.
