This white paper presents findings from two pilot studies in Nigeria and El Salvador, focusing on the integration of Source Water Protection (SWP) into Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and agricultural programs. These pilots projects were funded by the Osprey Foundation over a period of two years, building on a previous project funded by Osprey to develop the SWP toolbox. The pilots were designed to establish SWP as a risk management framework essential to resilient WASH systems.
