The 4th Africa WSS Regulators Conference is set to hold from 19-21 May 2026 under the auspices of the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), South Africa. The expected audience of over 400 participants comprises WSS Regulatory institutions from all 55 African countries, Government representatives, Utilities and Utility associations, sanitation and rural WSS operators, development partners, Civil Society and private sector.

The Minister of Water and Sanitation will officiate the conference under the theme, ‘Regulatory Requirements to accelerate and sustain sector progress’ which is intended to address the enablers that need to be in place for regulators to catalyse continuous improvements in the access, quality and sustainability of services, while creating confidence in the sector for increased investment.
