For over two decades, RWSN has worked to professionalise groundwater development, from how boreholes are sited and drilled to how contracts are managed and quality is assured. Through research, guidance, online training, and practitioner exchange, a partnership led and shaped by Dr Kerstin Danert. Over 18 years she built a body of knowledge that reaches professionals where they are: in government agencies, private firms, and communities across sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. These efforts don’t just build technical skills. They shift how practitioners think about their work, from getting the job done to getting it done right and making it last.
