In order to carry out a Preliminary Study on the State of Water Well Drilling in Angola, with clear recommendations on how it can be strengthened, so that it is clearly documented and visualized, meetings were held with different entities related to the groundwater sector in Angola.
This document presents a summary of the main findings during the meetings with the following institutions:
a) National Directorate of Water (DNA);
b) Coordination of the "Water for All" Project;
c) National Institute of Water Resources (INRH);
d) Provincial Directorate of Energy and Waters of Huíla;
e) Provincial Directorate of Energy and Waters of Namibe;
f) Provincial Directorate of Energy and Waters of Bié;
g) Different companies and professionals in the drilling sector;
h) Academic community.
